If you’ve ever been to a high-level event, you know how it typically goes. Every wedding playlist is the same, every corporate event is a snooze, and every special occasion is anything but.

Where is the electric connection? Where is the authentic care for the people and purpose behind the event? Where is that indescribable “extra something” that sets this event apart from thousands of others?

WHERE IS THE MEMORY-MAKING ENTERTAINMENT AND THE MUSIC THAT MOVES PEOPLE?

Back in the day, I earned my degree in Radio, TV, and Digital Media from the University of Idaho (Go Vandals!) and started behind the bar at a popular event space straight out of college.

I knew where I wanted my career to go - and I was on my way - but what I learned working one-on-one with the people was how to connect, inspire, and understand them on a deeper level.

This experience allowed me to hone my people-reading skills and later create a brand that was dedicated to aligning my services with a client’s dream vision.

After my mixology days were over, I paid my dues at a regional TV station working in production and photojournalism.

While I valued that experience and the incredible people I met along the way, I learned another important lesson: The world of media and entertainment is a cutthroat space.
